As I was watching him give his speech, I noticed how he doesn't just stare at his paper, but rather he glances at it every so often and the rest of the time he is looking out into the crowd.
ReplyDeleteSomething that stood out to me was the location of MLK's speech, the memorial of President Lincoln aka "the great emancipator", he got rid of slavery. MLK's diction is what made the powerful and memorable speech was it is today, you can just tell he was passionate about what he was talking about. The whole speech had a perfect introduction, middle, and conclusion. A phrase that really stood out to me was "... and if America is to be a great nation, this must become true; so let freedom ring" because people are still fighting for justice today, I have seen so many videos of how people of color are still being treated unfairly over the past couple of years. That is really upsetting. Will we ever live in a world where everone everywhere can live in perfect harmony?
