opportunity for (even more!) credit

Ordinarily, I don't really cover politics in my English courses (unless there is a linguistic lesson to be learned/ original here) until we get to rhetoric and public speaking.  However, today's news is historically big, and I want to know what you understand about reading an important nonfiction text.  So, if you'd like to receive more credit, please summarize the following document in 3-5 sentences in a comment to this post.

  1. Something I understood while reading this articles was the Donald John Trump is being impeached for having the authority of asking for the new elections information. The committee is making sure that he should be asked questions within 72 hours and have certain amounts asked throughout the time. They are getting information about the situation as well as the investigation reports. They should be asked in front of the Judiciary and allow them to answer the questions then the House of Representatives should be allowed to report the information and then further deem the consequences with the resolutions.

  2. I understood that in the beginning they're taking about if they have enough reason to move forward with the impeachment of president trump. They then state the procedure that would occur with moving forward with the impeachment. The committee is also making sure that during the investigation the reports and findings are made publicly with also taking in consideration the classified information.

  3. From what I understood is that this document talks about whether they have a good enough argument to impeach the U.S president. The document goes on to say that the Permanent Select Committee is authorized to hold a hearing or hearings and make sure that the information they receive from the hearings are shown to the public. The House of Representatives should then report their findings and further find a resolution as to whether impeachment is needed.

  4. After reading this document, I was able to understand that the goal is to get President Trump impeached. He is by far one of the worst Presidents we've ever had and that the permanent select committee is basically trying to gather enough information to have the power to impeach the president for good. The permanent select committee is only allowed to continue their investigations if they follow certain rules and procedures like, any requests for heaings must be accompanied by a well written justification.

  5. As I was reading the document, I understood that if they had a good enough reason to move along with the impeachment of President Trump. The document later on explains how the committee is making sure to get information about the situation that is reports so that they can be publicly announced to the people. Next, The House of Representatives should report their information/ findings and until further notice be arranged on having impeachment be apart of the solution.

  7. The impeachment iquarry has been a hot topic all over the world with media outlets reporting on the story left and right gaining millions of eyes trying to find out what’s going to happen next in this exciting process in removing the worst President in the Unites States. I’ve learned many this reading this like al, the horrible things Trump has done with his scandal es and dele as he is facing and the corruption and medaling with the election and hiring people to cover it up. But many objetes things I learned where that he won’t be removed from office because the House of Representatives (white male republican who are conservative) has to vote on it.
